Here is a layout I did for the monthly online crop at Dreams Scrappers. I’m very new at this traditional scrapbooking, but the more that I practice the more that I like it :)

The background paper was a technique using old books paper and acrylic paint. The red polka dot paper is from Cosmo Cricket the Early Bird collection. I also added an arrow that made and some Prima flowers.

For this kit I started making something for Easter, but since the colors were very soft, I ended up making something totally different,lol.

This kit was made for the Gotta Grab It event this month at Gotta Pixel. If you are new to my blog, here is a brief description on how the GGI works: The designers at Gotta Pixel get a color swatch and they have to do no more than 4 product with those colors. Why is this such a great event? Well, I guess because you can mix and match products to make your own collections, or maybe just because you get those amazing products for only $1.00 each for 3 days!

Hope everyone is doing ok. Here in the Mendez' house everything looks good, for a start kids a not sick any more, yay! and hopefully tomorrow our new addition to the Mendez family arrive. Yep, we are finally getting a puppy. Kids don't exactly know, but they can of have an idea that we are going to get a puppy, but they don't know exactly when.

On the 2oth, I will be releasing a new kit, and stay tuned because is going to have a great prize for a few days ;) I'm also will be releasing another kit on Monday, so keep an eye for a sneak peek and who knows there might be a small freebie too.

I'm Back :)

Yes, I'm back, yay! The driving was a nightmare, but I got safe. It rain all the way to Florida. The kids behave very well. They had a great time in Orlando, and let me tell you that Daniel had a blast in Disney. He is not scare of Mickey any more, yay! it was a very busy but fun week.

On Sunday, our friend Jaime who works in Disney gave us 4 tickets, so we went to Epcot and MGM Studios, we couldn't go to to Magic Kingdom because of the holiday his tickets were blocked for that park. All I could say was that Thomas was the happiest kid in town. He got to see his favorite characters from Nemo, Toy Story, Cars, and Winnie The Pooh. Daniel was a bit scared the first time he saw Mickey, but then he was fine. I could not take many pictures because I left my camera back home, and I had to use my old camera that I found in my laptop bag. Of course with not charger, but at least I was able to take a few pictures. I will be posting some later this week.

On Monday and Tuesday, we went shopping. The rest of the week we visit our family and took the kids to the fair. We came back home on Saturday. I'm so tired that I think I need another vacation, but with out the kids ;)
